Mailing List

  • There is an ongoing effort to move the open-ils-reports mailing list from Google Groups to the existing Evergreen mailing lists.
  • Status: currently on hold, pending some reconfiguration of the mailing list servers. Katherine Gregory will follow up.
  • For now we will continue to use the open-ils-reports mailing list at Google Groups.

Evergreen Conference 2011

  • Quick review and discussion of some of last year's programs plus possible programs for 2011.
  • It was noted that the conference allots only about fifty-five minutes for most programs, not enough for a detailed review.
  • An example was given of a program at Bibliomation that required two days to provide in-depth information.
  • During the discussion, Lynn Floyd provided a link to Entity/Relationship (E/R) diagrams of the Evergreen database. The diagrams can be found here .
  • Amy agreed to handle scheduling of the Reports program.

Report clean-up scripts

  • Discussion of reason for need for clean-up scripts, noting that the existing tool "find_orphaned_reports.pl" can find reports but doesn't delete them.
  • Ben forwarded info from Mike Peters of Indiana that describes a solution for deleting old reports. A summary can be found here .
