I am using the in-db circ rules, and all items have the 'reference' flag set. 2009-12-19T12:53:17 Should I simply set the circulate flag to false, or is there a more flexible way? 2009-12-19T13:00:32 *** brendan_ga has quit IRC 2009-12-19T13:08:35 *** natschil_ has joined #evergreen 2009-12-19T13:12:55 setting the circ flag may be expedient until you figure it out. With the script based circ behavior, the circ flag behavior is hardcoded, but you have to explicitly make a rule denying circulation based on the ref flag. The in-db rules must be similar 2009-12-19T13:13:43 there is a ref_flag field on config.circ_matrix_matchpoint 2009-12-19T13:15:10 some folks ignore the Ref flag altogether, and do such horrible things as create a Reference circ modifier 2009-12-19T13:15:48 I've always seen Reference as shelving locations, where the circ flag is toggled there 2009-12-19T13:19:21 s/always/also/ 2009-12-19T13:29:48 *** brendan_ga has joined #evergreen 2009-12-19T13:59:49 *** brendan_ga has quit IRC 2009-12-19T13:59:54 *** brendan_ga has joined #evergreen 2009-12-19T14:56:43 phasefx_: thanks for this good info!
