Got the problems sort of resolved, but still fighting with trunk issues when the main interest is trying to resolve migration issues. So, I can't tell whether the code's broken or the data. 2008-02-16T11:10:44 So, would it be practical to go back to the latest release of OpenSRF and ILS and have it run against the DB that I have (which was created as a trunk DB)? Any glaring incompatibilities? 2008-02-16T11:46:54 *** greg-g has joined #openils-evergreen 2008-02-16T12:53:26 *** agJohn has quit IRC 2008-02-16T13:06:05 *** agJohn has joined #openils-evergreen 2008-02-16T13:47:04 *** dbs has joined #OpenILS-Evergreen 2008-02-16T13:47:58 Just for the record, my copy of eg_vhost.conf is identical to the trunk version 2008-02-16T13:48:26 upgrades don't replace that do they? 2008-02-16T13:49:07 nope 2008-02-16T13:49:20 scary if it had :) 2008-02-16T13:49:45 I think some of our problems was using a stale trunk and not upgrading all of it correctly 2008-02-16T13:49:46 thanks for the copy_browser.xul fix - missed that in my testing, obviously. boo! 2008-02-16T13:50:03 John was missing staff.circ.utils.owning_lib in a properties file too, but I see that in there 2008-02-16T13:50:27 man, you do testing too? dbs++ :D 2008-02-16T13:50:41 hah 2008-02-16T13:51:19 I don't _want_ to do testing, I'd like a machine to do it for me :) 2008-02-16T13:52:00 hear hear 2008-02-16T13:52:30 I need to set a trunk environment up to play with 2008-02-16T13:53:53 I can let you copy my laptop hard drive 2008-02-16T13:54:24 supposedly a big storm hitting Toronto tomorrow, just when I'm supposed to fly through. ugh. 2008-02-16T14:03:10 fun fun 2008-02-16T14:03:47 alright, world of warcraft time with the Mrs. Then some dev work later :) 2008-02-16T14:03:53 enjoy! 2008-02-16T14:03:58 zub zub 2008-02-16T14:06:01 hmm, sun bought virtualbox 2008-02-16T14:29:25 Hey Gents, here's a really noob question: I've got a really simple setup on this test DB: 2 branches (2-level hierarchy in org_unit: both branches at top level; each branch underneath). Say I want to set up holdings--do I need a separate "volume" for each branch (even if both branches would use the same call number)? 2008-02-16T14:30:00 I'm wanting to have the copies associated with the individual branches.... 2008-02-16T14:47:15 *** _bott_ has joined #openils-evergreen 2008-02-16T14:48:30 *** _bott_ has left #openils-evergreen 2008-02-16T15:03:55 *** agJohn has quit IRC 2008-02-16T15:06:37 *** agJohn has joined #openils-evergreen 2008-02-16T15:17:02 *** sarabee has quit IRC 2008-02-16T15:19:47 *** sarabee has joined #openils-evergreen 2008-02-16T15:21:45 agJohn: yes.
