Arriving By Commuter Rail
The two major Commuter Rail stations serving the conference area are North and South Station.
South Station
- After exiting the commuter train, enter the South Station terminal building.
- Find the stairs that lead down to the South Station subway station
- Find an subway automatic teller machine for purchasing Charlie TICKETS, near the entrance to the South Station subway station entrance.
- Use the machine Purchase a Charlie TICKET, and add at least $2.50 dollars to cover the one-way trip to the hotel.
- Enter the station by inserting your Charlie TICKET into the automatic station doors, and retrieve it from the door system when it spits it out again.
- Go downstairs and board the Red Line subway headed to Alewife on the Outbound side of the tracks.
- Get off at the Kendall Sq. stop. (Four stops from the South Station stop)
- After exiting the train find the main exit of the station, not the small side exit. Go upstairs, and you will be next to the hotel.
North Station
- Walk from the North Station track area to the Green Line tracks.
- Get on any Green Line subway train going in the E – Heath St. – Inbound direction.
- Get off the Green Line at Park St stop.
- Walk to the Red Line tracks downstairs that are designated for the Alewife – Outbound direction.
- Get off at the Kendall Sq. stop. (Two stops from the Park St Station stop)
- After exiting the train find the main exit of the station, not the small side exit. Go upstairs, and you will be next to the hotel.
Note: Alternatively you can walk to the Orange Line trains at North Station. Then take the Orange Line to the Downtown Crossing stop, and then switch to the Red Line. Then follow the Park St. Station instructions above to find the proper Red Line train.
