This is the fifth summary report of important circulation statistics for the day after Memorial Day for PINES and the first for the King County Library System (KCLS).
Most PINES numbers had shown a steady increase for this busy day in the PINES libraries but this year all numbers are down a bit from last year although they are still impressive. The busiest hour for PINES is from 11AM to 12PM as it was last year.

This year, thanks to Bradley Bonner and Karen Daniel at KCLS, we have their circulation statistics. I was interested in seeing their numbers because their annual total circulations for the last year we have national-level data (FY 2008) were slightly higher than those of all the PINES libraries. The summary data for this day, however, are below those at PINES. I suspect, therefore, that some other day is their busiest day. The busiest hour at KCLS was from 4:00PM to 5:00PM.
