Evergreen 3.12-beta Released
The Evergreen Community is pleased to announce the beta release for Evergreen 3.12. We encourage all community members to test this release and report any issues to Launchpad. Bugfixes will be applied to the future 3.12-rc (release candidate) and 3.12.0 releases, forthcoming in the next couple of weeks.
Highlights of 3.12-beta include:
- Support for NoveList Added Content within the Angular staff catalog
- A path to upgrade Evergreen/OpenSRF to use Redis
- Angular ports of the Link Checker, Custom Org Unit Trees, and Hatch Print Config interfaces
- Several improvements to the Create MARC Record interface
- A new interface to support Acquisitions fiscal years
- An update to support Google Analytics 4
- Several updates to the marc_export script
- Numerous accessibility improvements

Job Posting: Bibliomation, Evergreen Systems Specialist
Works closely with the Evergreen Systems Manager to manage, troubleshoot and develop the statewide FindIT CT catalog and Interlibrary Loan system. This system is based on Evergreen open source. Works in conjunction with the State Library and Equinox as needed.
Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer/ Information Science or related field; A Master of Library Science Degree is preferred as is experience working with an integrated library system; 1-3 years work experience; proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems; strong relational database experience, including SQL scripting; familiarity with HTML, CSS, Angular, JavaScript, Perl; knowledge of computer applications; knowledge and /or experience with networking; strong oral and written communication skills; ability to collaborate in a team environment. Working knowledge and /or experience with software development and version control; experience with open source software projects; familiarity with libraries; exceptional customer oriented service. Strong customer service skills required.
