Evergreen is a proud member of Software Freedom Conservancy, a not-for-profit organization that provides administrative & financial services for Open Source projects. Conservancy assists Evergreen by handling project funds under the direction of the Evergreen Oversight Board, holding the Evergreen Project’s trademark, and providing legal advice.

Donations by checks drawn in USD from banks in the USA (donations from banks outside of the US or not in USD should be handled by wire). Make checks payable to “Software Freedom Conservancy” and place “Directed donation: Evergreen” in the memo field.

Conservancy can accept wire donations, but the instructions vary depending on the country of origin. Please contact accounting@sfconservancy.org for instructions.
Why donate?
Donations to the project may be used for purposes including paying for project infrastructure, supporting community events, and furthering software development.
Funds management
Funds donated to the Evergreen project will be directed by the Evergreen Oversight Board in accordance with the goals of the Board, which are to:
- promote, support, and advance the development of the Evergreen software;
- support and facilitate the growth of the international community of Evergreen users; and
- foster and protect the Evergreen assets.
