Getting There
Worcester is located roughly 45 miles west of Boston, MA, and is served by three nearby airports:
- Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) [49 miles to the hotel]
- Worcester Regional Airport (ORH) [5 miles to the hotel]
- Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport (PVD) [48 miles to the hotel]
The AC Hotel by Marriott – Worcester is located at 125 Front Street, Worcester, Massachusetts, USA, 01608.
The hotel is only a 3 minute walk from Worcester’s Union Station, which serves as a regional hub for trains and buses.
From Logan International Airport (Boston, MA)
Logan International Airport is located 49 miles from the AC Hotel in downtown Worcester.
A commuter train rail (known as the Framingham/Worcester line) runs between South Station in Boston and Union Station in Worcester. The train runs regularly throughout the day between 5 AM and 11 PM. Check the schedule for more specific times.
A one-way ticket costs around $12.00, and the trip takes about 1.5 hours.
Note that to use the commuter rail, you must get to South Station in Boston. From Logan, follow signs for the Silver Line (SL1) inbound to South Station. The Silver Line is free from Logan, and the trip to South Station will take roughly 20 minutes. (Note for your return trip that the Silver Line from South Station to Logan will cost $2.40.)
Peter Pan provides direct bus service between Logan and Union Station. The ride takes approximately 2 hours and costs around $20.00.
Check Peter Pan’s website for a schedule as the bus may only leave once or twice a day.
Greyhound provides direct bus service between South Station in Boston and Union Station in Worcester. The ride takes approximately 1 hour and costs between $10.00 and $20.00.
Note that Greyhound does not provide service from Logan airport. To get to South Station in Boston, you must take alternate transport, such as the MBTA Silver Line (see MBTA Commuter Rail above), the Peter Pan bus line, ride-share (Uber/Lyft), or taxi.
Check Greyhound’s website for a schedule as the bus may only leave once or twice a day.
Knight’s airport limo service provides door-to-door shuttle service between Logan airport and the AC Hotel in Worcester. To book a ride, visit their website. Knight’s can accommodate between 1 and 29 passengers with a single booking. A single rider costs $85.00, but rates per person will decrease with more passengers (for example, a private 10 passenger van costs roughly $200 total), so this service is more viable if you plan to carpool with other attendees. The shuttle ride will take roughly 1 hour.
Logan offers car rentals from many of the major brands. If renting a car, the drive to the hotel takes roughly 1 hour.
Parking is available at the Hotel and nearby garages for a fee. See Parking below for more details.
Ride-Share
While ride-shares such as Lyft and Uber are available from the airport, it’s generally expensive to take one to Worcester. Costs can be over $100, excluding tip. Expect about a 1 hour car ride. (If using ride-share, make sure you are selecting the AC Hotel in Worcester, as there is one in downtown Boston, as well).
From Worcester Regional Airport (Worcester, MA)
The airport in Worcester is located just 5 miles from the AC Hotel in downtown Worcester.
The Worcester Regional Transit Authority provides a bus route between the airport and downtown Worcester. Bus Route 2 runs between 10 AM and 6 PM on most weekdays, but that schedule may change – check the official schedule for more details. The route takes roughly 30 minutes and costs $1.75. The hotel is about a one minute walk from the Front St / City Hall stop.
Ride-Share
Ride-shares such as Lyft and Uber can be called from the airport. The ride to the AC Hotel in Worcester takes about 15 minutes and may cost between $10 and $20, excluding tip.
Worcester Regional Airport offers car rental options from several major brands. If renting a car, the drive to the hotel takes roughly 15 minutes.

From T.F. Green International Airport (Providence, RI)
T.F. Green International Airport is located 48 miles from the AC Hotel in downtown Worcester.
There are no direct public/mass transit options between T.F. Green and Worcester.

Amtrak
While there is no direct Amtrak route between Boston (or Providence) and Worcester, Amtrak does service Union Station in Worcester and may be a viable option if you’re coming from an area on the same or nearby line.
Parking
A parking garage is available underneath the AC Hotel in downtown Worcester, with its entrance located on Trumbull St. Parking is $17 per night and may be less for shorter periods.
Limited on-street parking is also available near the hotel (metered).
Nearby municipal and private garages/lots are also available. Information on parking in Worcester is linked here, and a list of Worcester municipal garages with rates/addresses can be found here. The closest garage is the Worcester Common garage at 3 Eaton Place, across the street from the hotel. Pricing at most municipal lots/garages will be comparable to the Hotel garage.
