To make a subfield “a”, I just type “a” right after the subfield delimiter, then a space, then I can insert whatever data I want:
That is correct. I am not a cataloger. If I wanted to add another subfield, I’d just insert another subfield indicator (ctrl-d), the subfield name, and go.
