We also allow for the creation of surveys, which can be setup to be visible in the OPAC, in the staff client, or both. Required surveys show up in the patron summary pane, and we’re using one to provide for the recording of Voter Registration, as seen in an earlier screenshot. As with stat cats, you will be able to run local reports on the data contained within your surveys.
We’ve showed a lot with the circulation module so far, but we haven’t seen an actual circulation yet. Let’s remedy this by going to the Check Out interface. We may do this from a patron summary pane, or we could press Function 1 or do Circulation -> Check Out. If you do the latter, enter this barcode into the textbox in the Scan Patron area.
